A partnership of Gleeson Land and Avant Homes are currently developing proposals to deliver up to 325 new homes with public open space on land at Barn Hall, Wickford, with a view to submitting an outline planning application for the principle of the development in Summer 2025. The proposal would assist in addressing the current housing need in Basildon Borough, aiming to deliver a range of high-quality new homes for a range of people with public open space and landscape proposals.

Ahead of submitting an outline planning application later this year, we are holding a consultation period to understand the views of key stakeholders and the local community so that they can be considered and, where appropriate, incorporated into the proposals.
